MINDFUL of Articles 7, 8 and 9 of the Revised Treaty establishing the Authority of Heads of State and Government and defining its composition and functions;

MINDFUL of the Protocol on the Community Court of Justice adopted in Abuja on 6 July 1991;

MINDFUL of Article 3 of the said Protocol relating to the composition of the Court and appointment of the judges;

ALSO MINDFUL of Article 4 of the Protocol relating to the terms of office of the judges;

ON THE RECOMENDATION of the extra-ordinary session of Council of Ministers held in Bamako, on 24 October, 2000.

The following personalities are hereby appointed as judges of the Community Court of Justice.

In accordance with Article 4 of the Protocol, the terms of office of the judges shall commence from the date each took his Oath of Office before the chairman of the Authority, and shall expire at the end of five (5) years and three (3) years respectively in the following order:

This Decision shall be published by the Executive Secretariat in the Official Journal of the Community within thirty (30) days of its signature by the chairman of the Authority. It shall also be published by each Member State in its National Gazette within the same time frame.
