BOARD FO DIRECTORS
MINDFUL
of Article 21 of the Revised Treaty of the Economic Community of
west African States (ECOWAS) establishing the ECOWAS Fund for
Cooperation, Compensation and Development;
MINDFUL
of Article 25 paragraph 1 of the Protocol relating to the ECOWAS
Fund and defining the powers of the Board of Directors ;
HAVING
considered the memorandum FBD/CA.47/2000/13 from the Management
of the Fund relating to the request for the establishment of
correspondent banking relations with specified American Banks ;
DECIDES
:
The
Management of the ECOWAS Fund is authorised to establish
correspondent banking relations with Deutsche Bank AG and its
subsidiary Bankers Trust Corporation.
